Focus: Information Design, Community Storytelling & Player Highlights
As Social Media Manager and Stream Team Member for Esports Ohio, I drove digital content initiatives for a premier statewide scholastic esports league. Managing communications for a massive audience of high school students, coaches, and parents required a delicate balance of crystal-clear information design and compelling community storytelling.
Throughout the competitive season, I produced a comprehensive suite of digital assets designed to keep the community informed and engaged. From formatting complex weekly stream schedules to designing dynamic top-8 regional brackets and end-of-year MVP awards, my primary goal was to make critical league data accessible, highly professional, and visually consistent across all platforms.
Beyond static information design, I actively contributed to the league's broadcast narrative by curating and editing VODs from live streams. By transforming raw tournament gameplay into high-impact social media highlights, I helped elevate the digital profiles of student-athletes, celebrating their competitive success and fostering a deeply connected statewide esports community.
A curated selection of high-stakes tournament and award graphics designed for rapid deployment during the Regional and State Championships. These assets, ranging from dynamic advancement brackets to prestigious 'All-Ohio' and 'All-Star' rosters, were crafted to build hype, clearly communicate critical competition results, and give elite high school athletes the professional recognition they deserve.
